Preschool-aged children are ready to learn: about making friends, getting along with peers, learning to collaborate and play with others, exploring new ideas, asking questions, and solving problems independently. By age four, most children are ready to engage in rich conversations and ask open-ended questions, to be curious about how things work, and to find answers to problems.
Trinity’s preschool program focuses on learning through exploration, discovery, and exciting adventures. A low student-teacher ratio assures that every child receives personal attention in a safe environment.
New students must be three years of age by September 30 to register for preschool.
Classroom activities include learning centers, resource classes, weekly chapel, guest speakers, community service projects, and multicultural holiday celebrations. These classroom activities are designed to support and foster each child’s curiosity and development. Parents are encouraged to take an active part in preschool activities.
