The middle school years are an exciting transition period. Trinity Lutheran School’s middle school program offers a curriculum designed to prepare students for continued academic success in independent or public school. Using critical thinking, analysis, and appropriate problem-solving techniques, students communicate effectively in both oral and written expression, using insight, reason, and technical proficiency.
Students are encouraged to work both independently and collaboratively to complete tasks. Teachers use a variety of instructional techniques, including project-based learning, the Socratic method, and current best-practices. During their middle school years, students develop independent work-study habits and time management skills. They demonstrate awareness and sensitivity to those of other cultures and ethnic backgrounds.
Our middle school program provides students with opportunities to explore and expand interests and talents via organized sports teams, outdoor programs, and other extracurricular opportunities. Students have the opportunity to earn high school credits in Algebra 1, Geometry, Spanish 1, and World Geography.
