Bayport Savings Days
Trinity has its very own student-run Bayport Credit Union branch! This program brings real world financial literacy and financial education into our school. All students (PreK-8th grade) are able to open an account and make deposits every Monday from 7:45-8:15 a.m.
Honor Council
Students in grades 5-8 who are selected to the Honor Council assist with TLS Code of Conduct violations, such as: forging parents’ signatures, cheating, lying, stealing, and plagiarism. Honor Council is one of many leadership opportunities within the school.
Honor Society
Trinity’s chapter of the National Junior Honor Society, chartered in 2002, recognizes students for academic achievement and community service.
Independent Schools Cultural Alliance (ISCA)
ISCA gives students from across the globe the chance to travel to the UK with friends and teachers from their own school and experience the culture and history of the UK in a fun and interactive way. This summer program for 7th and 8th graders allows students to expand their cultural horizons and become global citizens. Watch for news announcements regarding this educational opportunity.
Student Council Association (SCA)
The Upper and Lower Schools each elect their class officers. The Lower and Upper School’s SCAs provide opportunities for leadership and community service. Some of their annual service projects include: canned food drives, Coats for Kids, PORT, and the SPCA. These projects support Trinity’s mission to the community.
Safety Patrol
This program instills in students a sense of responsibility and leadership. Each day they protect classmates going to and from school by offering assistance with arrival and dismissal procedures.
Student Ambassador Program
Student Ambassadors are a select group of student leaders who perform many important functions throughout our school. On any given week, ambassadors will be seen leading parent tours, helping younger students get to class in the morning, or mentoring their peers or new students. Student Ambassadors will also volunteer at various school events, and will always set a good example in the community. These students will be engaged and knowledgeable about Trinity’s practices, its people and traditions, and will be willing to share the good news about Trinity with new families.
Flag Patrol
Fifth graders learn about the meaning of our flag and how to treat the flag with respect as a symbol of our country. They learn how to fold, raise, and lower the flag and two students perform this responsibility every day. This is one of their favorite responsibilities!
