There’s so much to consider when selecting a school for your child—academics, class size, safety, environment, athletic and activity opportunities—and we are so pleased you are considering Trinity Lutheran School. We encourage you and your student to visit and witness the many great things happening here. We offer a variety of opportunities to explore our school: tours, shadow visits, and open houses.

Come and find out how we are building foundations for life.

Open enrollment for the next school year begins in January. We encourage you to start the application process early in the enrollment season as classes can fill up quickly. Thank you for considering Trinity Lutheran School for your child.

Thank you for considering Trinity Lutheran School. A complete application to enroll comprises several important steps:

  1. Tour the school and meet faculty and students – Sign up online for a tour or shadow tour, or come to an Open House.
  2. Submit the online application – The admissions process begins with a submitted online application and nonrefundable registration fee.
  3. Submit student transcripts and test scores – A copy of the student’s transcripts and standardized test scores are required for students applying for grades 1 through 8. In addition, a student interview and/or references may be required.
  4. Submit Health forms – Each family must provide a copy of their child’s current immunization record and physical examination documented on the Commonwealth of Virginia School Entrance Health Form.
  5. Admissions Testing – When your online application is received, the Office of Admissions will schedule admissions testing for students applying to Kindergarten through 8th

Upon completion of the application and entrance requirements, necessary enrollment forms, and payment of fees, prospective students will be officially enrolled for the upcoming school year. Decisions are not final for any student until all of the required documents are received and reviewed by the school. Enrollment is based on a first come, first served basis. Waiting lists will be maintained once classroom numbers have been reached until there are sufficient numbers to open a new section.
