Jeanette Dail

My name is Jeanette Wagner Dail. My family has been a part of Trinity Lutheran Church since 1958. I have been married to Rufus Kenneth Dail, Jr. (Kenny) for over 28 years. I have two children, Corey Stall, who attended Trinity Lutheran School from preschool through 7 th grade and Katie Dail, who also attended Trinity Lutheran School through Kindergarten. I taught in Newport News Public Schools for over 38 years as an elementary special education teacher, 3 rd grade teacher, and reading interventionist. I currently hold Virginia endorsements in Early Education NK-4, Intellectual Disabilities K-12, Reading Specialist, and Specific Learning Disabilities K-12. I retired in April 2021. I have served on the school board of Resurrection Lutheran School, in addition to Carver Elementary and Deer Park Elementary PTA boards. This past school year, I returned to NNPS as a part time reading tutor at Saunders Elementary.
