Volunteering

Your time and talents are highly prized gifts. TLS offers many opportunities for you to volunteer in and out of the classroom. Here are some examples of how you can enhance the quality and quantity of the educational experiences we offer:

• Read to a class
• Share your knowledge and life/work experiences with students
• Chaperone a field trip
• Serve as a Room Parent
• Build or repair a classroom fixture
• Serve on a committee
• Plan or participate in a fundraiser
• Help put up a bulletin board
• Assist during the Book Fair
• Chaperone a middle school dance
• Bake cookies for an event
• Assist with major school fundraisers, such as the Annual Breakfast and Derby Party
• Donate party or craft supplies
• Lend a hand at a Trinity Work Day to improve/maintain the school
• Help advertise events
• Find sponsors for events or special campaigns
• Share our events on your Facebook page
• Coach a sport
• Donate items for auctions and event gift baskets
• Decorate for events
